The Digital solutions for sustainable cattle farming project is developing advanced digital solutions that will help address the challenges of modern cattle farming. The main goal is to manage herds efficiently, improve animal welfare, and increase farm profitability by introducing advanced digital solutions.

The project will use sensors to monitor environmental influences and automatically record events, and will develop a user-friendly digital tool for herd management. These customized solutions will improve animal health and welfare, optimize work processes, and reduce environmental impact.

Funding: This project is co-funded by European Union.

Expert Support with Cutting-edge Technology

As an expert partner in the field of data processing, Abelium shall in the course of the project establish a robust, flexible, and secure database. This will combine data from smart collars, environmental sensors and manual entries by farmers.

Main task is to ensure quality, normalisation and analysis of data, which enables the development of advanced machine learning algorithms. These algorithms will support reproduction monitoring, early detection of health problems and effective management of heat stress.
