The eSpis system is designed as a horizontal information system, which simplifies the access and review of court case files in electronic form, and consequently facilitate and speed up their processing. It is implemented as a stand-alone web application that enables different ways of displaying and annotating court case files.
In the user section, users can access files and their content, review case documents, add different types of annotations and tags to documents and their content, and prepare collections of annotations for further processing (e.g. composition of various types of writings such as resolutions, decisions, orders, correspondence, etc.). The administrative part is intended for users who carry out administrative actions for editing electronic case files (e.g. logical division of file documents, text OCR) with the aim of easier, more efficient and correct display.
The system will be implemented in all courts throughout the country and will provide access to different groups of users (judges, clerks, prosecutors, lawyers, notaries, clients, and other persons with granted access).
